Hi Marc,
The Font Helper is a really nice feature in Keyman Desktop. Is it available in Developer to check font coverage before compiling and installing?
Secondly, a suggested feature: looking back at a keyboard I made some time ago, it would be nice to be able to find where the letters are in the Unicode map (eg in Latin-A / Extended B, etc). Buttons/commands to "Show this character in Character map" and "Show all used characters in Character map" would be great. The latter would show a view just like the Filter does in Character map. Thanks.

Marc Durdin Tavultesoft Staff | The Font Helper is not currently available in Keyman Developer but we do plan to integrate it into the Character Map in Keyman Developer in a future update.
You can find a character in character map simply by clicking on the character or U+xxxx code in the keyboard source. When you do this, the Character Map will automatically jump to that character, unless:
You have switched off the option "Find character under cursor automatically" A function to show all characters in a keyboard would be helpful and we will consider it for a future update of Keyman Developer, perhaps related to the Font Helper. |
