I am using Keyman 7.0 with Vista, working with a Spanish keyboard which came out of the box with some faulty keyboard mappings. When I activate a virtual Keyman keyboard designed to correct the faulty mappings, the Spanish keyboard of the system appears to be disactivated and the virtual keyboard, which designed to correct some of the faulty mappings does not work as intended. ????

Marc Durdin Tavultesoft Staff | By default, Keyman keyboards use a fixed layout, and ignore the underlying layout (for convenience, this fixed layout is based on US English for a number of reasons). In order to base your layout on the underlying system layout, you need to use the "mnemonic layout" feature. To turn on mnemonic layout for your keyboard, add the following header statement in your .kmn source file, recompile and reinstall it:
